# Create a task in a Topic

The **Tasks** block allows you to create tasks related to a meeting. At the end of the meeting, everyone knows what needs to be done and when. To create a task, you have three options:

*   Select the **Task** block
    
*   Enter _Task_ using the **`/`** command
    
*   Add a task using the `+` icon in the left margin

When you create a task, a panel on the right allows you to set up the task. During your meeting, you can in particular:

1.  Assign the task
    
2.  Define a priority
    
3.  Select a due date etc.
    

The other fields can be filled in later during the review of the meeting minutes or by the person responsible for the task.
