# Modify the tasks in the template

# Modify the tasks in a checklist template

**Only the model moderators are authorized to modify the model tasks.**

To modify the tasks of a checklist template :

1.  Go to the **model** in question
    
2.  Click on the button with the **three vertical points**
    
3.  Click on **Modify Template Tasks**

From then on, it is possible to modify the options of each task. To modify the options of a task :

1.  Click on **the task** to be modified.
    
2.  Edit the task options by clicking on **the fields in the details pane** on the right side of the screen.

Via the details pane, you can modify the following options:

*   The name of the task
    
*   The person responsible for the task
    
*   The workspaces to which the task is attached
    
*   The 4 options that concern the **planned date**: planned date X somedays before the reference date, planned date on the reference date, planned date X days after the reference date or no date.
    
*   The 4 options that concern the **due date**: due date X days before the reference date, due date on the reference date, due date X days after the reference date or no date.
    
*   The sub-tasks of the task
    
*   The description of the task
    
*   The files attached to the task
    
*   The Task Watchers
    

Changes are saved automatically.

**Info**: All changes made to the template will apply to checklists launched in the future. All checklists launched in the past will not be modified.
