# Recurring tasks

# Define a recurrence

It is possible to define a recurring date for a task so that it reappears each time at the appropriate time. For example, a person in charge of invoicing will create a recurring task that will act as a reminder at the end of each month. To define a recurrence :

1. Create a new task or click on an existing task.

2. The details pane opens on the right hand side of the screen, click on the **Set due date or recurrence** field.

3.  Click on **Set recurrence**

A window opens, choose the right tab according to the type of recurrence :

\> Daily > Weekly > Monthly > Yearly

## Daily recurrence

Field _Starts on_

Define when the recurrence starts - format DD.MM.YYYY (1)

Field _Repeat Every_

Define if the task must be repeated every X days (2)

Field _Ends_

Define when the recurrence should end, three options (3) :

*   never ends

* ends after a defined number of occurrences - X times

*   ends on date - format DD.MM.YYYY

The information in the blue box summarizes the choices made regarding recurrence.

**Remove** **recurrence** (4) in case of a data entry error.

**Save** (5) the recurrence

## Weekly recurrence

Field _Starts on_

Define when the recurrence starts - format DD.MM.YYYY (1)

Field _Repeat every_

Define if the task must be repeated every X weeks (2)

Field _Repeat_

Choose the day of the week when the task will be repeated (3)

Field _Ends_

Define when the recurrence should end, three options (4) :

*   never ends

* ends after a defined number of occurrences - X times

*   ends on date - format DD.MM.YYYY

The information in the blue box summarizes the choices made regarding recurrence.

**Remove recurrence** (4) in case of a data entry error.

*   never ends

* ends after a defined number of occurrences - X times

*   ends on date - format DD.MM.YYYY

The information in the blue box summarizes the choices made regarding recurrence.
