The relative scheduling of tasks in the checklist template

The relative plan of the tasks in the checklist template

Only the model moderators are authorized to modify the model tasks.

There is always a reference date for a checklist. For example, for the welcome of a new employee, the reference date is the someday when the new employee takes up his or her position. So there will be tasks to be done before, during and after the someday. This is what we call relative planning; D-30, D0, D+90, etc.

To configure the relative dates of the tasks in a checklist template :

Click on the template in question

Click on the button with the three vertical points

Click on Edit Template Tasks

It is also possible to define relative dates when creating the template when entering tasks.

Examples of relative plan

It is possible to set the planned dates and due dates for the model tasks so that they are effective for all future checklists. Here are some examples to understand this use case:

The task "_Get signature on work contract_" should always be done 30 days before the employee joins the company. To configure the task in question :

Click on the task, the details pane opens on the right side of the screen.

Click on the drop-down menu under the Planned date field, select Planned date X days before the reference date.

Enter the desired number of days for the relative plan, here 30 days before the reference date.

It is possible to proceed in the same way if it is necessary to define due dates for the completion of the tasks. To do so, proceed in the same way as for the planned date configuration, this time setting the Due date field.

The task Welcome at the reception desk should always be performed on the D-day. To configure the task in question :

Click on the task, the details pane opens on the right side of the screen.

Click on the drop-down menu below the Planned date field, select Planned date at reference date

It is possible to proceed in the same way if it is necessary to define due dates for the completion of the tasks. To do so, proceed in the same way as for the planned date configuration, this time setting the Due date field.

And finally, the task Fixing an appointment for the evaluation at the end of the trial period must always be performed 90 days after the employee has started work. To configure the task in question :

Click on the task, the details pane opens on the right side of the screen.

Click on the drop-down menu below the Planned date field and select Planned date X days after reference

Enter the desired number of days for the relative plan, here 90 days after the reference date

It is possible to proceed in the same way if it is necessary to define due dates for the completion of the tasks. To do so, proceed in the same way as for the planned date configuration, this time setting the Due date field.
