# Voting & decision: preparing the decision on a vote

When preparing to vote, you can enter a **Decision** in the details pane. When the time comes, you will only have to confirm the result of the vote and the decision will be automatically integrated into your meeting minutes. This will save you valuable writing time.

To prepare the decision resulting from a vote :

1.  Click on **Edit**
    
2.  Under the **Decision** field, write the decision that will be applied
    
3.  Click on **Confirm Result**
    
4.  Choose the result
    
5.  **Confirm the result**
