Recurring tasks

Define a recurrence


It is possible to define a recurring date for a task so that it reappears each time at the appropriate time. For example, a person in charge of invoicing will create a recurring task that will act as a reminder at the end of each month. To define a recurrence :


  1. Create a new task or click on an existing task.
  2. The details pane opens on the right hand side of the screen, click on the Set due date or recurrence field.
  3. Click on Set recurrence


A window opens, choose the right tab according to the type of recurrence :


\> Daily > Weekly > Monthly > Yearly




Daily recurrence


Field Starts on


Define when the recurrence starts - format DD.MM.YYYY (1)


Field Repeat Every


Define if the task must be repeated every X days (2)


Field Ends


Define when the recurrence should end, three options (3) :


  • never ends
  • ends after a defined number of occurrences - X times
  • ends on date - format DD.MM.YYYY

Remove recurrence (4) in case of a data entry error.


Save (5) the recurrence



Weekly recurrence


Field Starts on


Define when the recurrence starts - format DD.MM.YYYY (1)


Field Repeat every


Define if the task must be repeated every X weeks (2)


Field Repeat


Choose the day of the week when the task will be repeated (3)


Field Ends


Define when the recurrence should end, three options (4) :


  • never ends
  • ends after a defined number of occurrences - X times
  • ends on date - format DD.MM.YYYY

Monthly recurrence

  • Select the day of the month. For example: the first business day, the 1st day of the month, the last business day, the 30th day of the month, etc.
  • Select the days of the week

Define when the recurrence should end, three options (4) :


  • never ends
  • ends after a defined number of occurrences - X times
  • ends on date - format DD.MM.YYYY

Yearly recurrence


Field Starts on

Field Repeat Every


Define if the task should be repeated every X years (2)


Field Repeat


Choose how often the task will be repeated, two options (3) :


  • Select the day of the month. For example: the first working day, the 1st day of the month, the last working day, the 30th day of the month, etc.
  • Select the days of the week


Field Of Months


Choose for which months of the year the recurrence will be active (4)


Field Ends


Define when the recurrence should end, three options (5) :


  • never ends
  • ends after a defined number of occurrences - X times
  • ends on date - format DD.MM.YYYY
